Where will it be shown?
Sochil’s city programs run in Washington, DC, Miami, New York City, and San Juan. Our curation runs separately — it reaches a nationwide audience, which we are projecting in the thousands over the next year. Each work has its undivided attention.

Do I keep the rights?
Yes. All submissions are non-exclusive. You retain full ownership and control of your work.

How long until it’s published?
Selections are typically made within 30 days. We don’t commit to specific publication dates — once your work is chosen, it goes into the curation rotation.

Who reviews my work?
A small team of film curators watches every submission, our founder among them.

Can I withdraw my submission?
Yes — at any time. If your work is already live, it’s generally removed from rotation within 48 hours.

My film isn’t recent. Does that matter?
The recency of your work has no bearing on its selection. A great work is a great work.

Is there any compensation?
No. Sochil Selects is curatorial — we give your work a dedicated spotlight, in front of a receptive audience.

What happens if there’s a technical issue?
If your submission encounters any issues, we’ll reach out to you directly and, if needed, issue a new invitation link for resubmission.
